Pacifichem 2015: Biological Chemistry

Biological chemistry is an amalgamation of the chemical and life sciences. It is the study of the chemistry of living organisms at the cellular and molecular level, and is vital to the understanding of these living organisms. Applications are diverse and range from pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and cancer research, to agriculture. The Biological Chemistry technical symposia at Pacifichem 2015 features 28 sessions covering a myriad of topics, including peptide and protein chemistry, natural products, epigenetics/epigenomics, biocatalysis, and bioengineering.
