This session will feature a series of concise TED-style presentations by the Talented 12, highlighting their own research, motivations, and future goals. This symposium will feature a broad spectrum of exceptional basic and applied cutting-edge chemical research. Register now.
Monday, August 22: ACS Omega Fast Pitch

Here is your chance to talk to one of the editors of ACS Omega, our newest open-access, multidisciplinary journal. You will have a 10-minute mentoring session where you discuss your research and have an expert give you tips to improve it for publication. Tuesday, August 23: C&EN Talks with Andy Brunning
Exhibition Hall – ACS Booth Theater, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
C&EN will sit down with U.K. chemistry teacher and monthly contributor to C&EN’s Periodic Graphics, Andy Brunning. The author of the blog Compound Interest has skyrocketed to fame online with popular graphics such as “What Compounds Cause Garlic Breath?” and “The Chemicals Behind the ‘New Car Smell”. Join C&EN in the ACS Theater for refreshments and receive an autographed poster by Andy Brunning and chance to win his new book.
