Celebrate National Chemistry Week with Forensic Chemistry Resources from the Journal of Chemical Education

National Chemistry Week is a community-based annual event that unites ACS local sections, businesses, schools, and individuals in communicating the value of chemistry in our everyday life. This year, National Chemistry Week is being celebrated October 16–22, 2016, and the theme, Solving Mysteries through Chemistry, explores forensic chemistry.

Solving a mystery can develop analytical skills, motivate group collaboration and problem solving, and enhance literacy. Make the most of this annual celebration by increasing student interest, creativity, and communication skills with forensic chemistry resources from the Journal of Chemical Education.

Journal of Chemical Education is the official journal of the Division of Chemical Education of the American Chemical Society, co-published with the American Chemical Society Publications Division. JCE typically addresses chemical content, activities, laboratory experiments, instructional methods, and pedagogies. The Journal serves as a means of communication among people across the worlds who are interested in the teaching and learning of chemistry.
