One of our newest ACS journals, ACS Earth and Space Chemistry along with Environmental Science & Technology and Environmental Science & Technology Letters recently exhibited at the JpGU–AGU Joint Meeting 2017 in Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan. The meeting covered research in all areas of Space and Planetary Sciences, Atmosphere and Hydrosphere Sciences, Human Geosciences, Solid Earth Sciences, and Biogeosciences.
We were excited to exhibit at the first joint meeting of the two organizations JpGU and AGU. In addition, this was the first time ACS Earth Space and Chemistry exhibited overseas in Japan. For our international attendees, our brochures were made available in both English and Japanese. In addition, our international ACS representatives, Yasunori Fudamoto and Jason Good helped to greet attendees, and helped to answer any questions. Each attendee stopping by the booth received information about submitting their research into these journals, and also received one of our star charts courtesy of ACS Earth and Space Chemistry or an ES&T Letters Notebook as a giveaway. With over 72 exhibitors and hundreds of attendees present, we were happy that our booth was very popular among attendees, and almost ran out of materials.
The end result was many attendees walked away with more information about submitting their research to our environmental journals ACS Earth and Space Chemistry along with Environmental Science & Technology and Environmental Science & Technology Letters.
