The world’s leading materials science researchers are coming together in Shanghai for three days of exchanging ideas. Attend the ACS Publications Symposium Innovations in Materials Science from July 29-31 and learn all about the latest breakthroughs in the field. You’ll be able to network with researchers and ACS Editors from around the world, and present your best work alongside renowned scientific experts.
The event, held in partnership with ShanghaiTech University will feature keynote lectures sponsored by ACS Nano and the Journal of the American Chemical Society, as well as 5 plenary sessions. Attendees will hear speakers discuss cutting-edge nanomaterials, as well as materials for sectors such as the environment, energy, photon sciences, and biology.
The symposium also includes access to networking opportunities, such as a poster session reception, a welcome banquet, lunch during Monday and Tuesday’s program, exclusive “Meet the Speakers and Editors” events, and much more.

The symposium will feature lectures by world-renowned scientists, poster sessions, short talks selected from outstanding abstracts, ample networking opportunities. Submit your best research for the ACS Publications Symposium poster presentation session. The best posters will receive a prize. Outstanding abstracts will be selected for oral shorts talks and featured on the official symposium plenary agenda. Submit your abstracts by June 15!
