This Special Issue aims to highlight the latest advancements and applications of artificial intelligence in the fields of chemical and biomedical imaging. Submit your manuscript by March 31, 2025.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers great potential to improve the accuracy and efficiency of chemical and biomedical imaging. New algorithms could increase imaging speed, resolution and accuracy, which would enhance characterization of new compounds and materials, and increase the chances of identifying impurities. AI integrated with hardware could enable real-time analysis and the potential for just-in-time process modification. In the realm of diagnostic imaging, AI can increase the accuracy of spotting abnormalities in cellular and molecular specimens and processes, without risk of human error from overload and weariness.
This Special Issue in Chemical & Biomedical Imaging aims to highlight the latest advancements and applications of artificial intelligence in the fields of chemical and biomedical imaging. We invite researchers and practitioners to submit articles that explore the potential for integration of AI with chemical and biomedical imaging techniques to address critical challenges and drive innovation.
