Call for Papers: Special Issue on Mass Spectrometry in Immunology and Antibody Research

Journal of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry (JASMS) is welcoming submissions for an upcoming Special Issue on Mass Spectrometry in Immunology and Antibody Research to coincide with the 2025 ASMS Winter Conference on Mass Spectrometry (formerly Sanibel) of the same theme.

Immunology is an enormous field, which has benefitted greatly from incorporating a range of mass spectrometry-based experimental strategies in its arsenal. However, there is still a significant gap between what the mass spectrometry community can offer and what the immunology community uses routinely. This Special issue welcomes submissions on a diverse set of immunology sub-fields involving the development of novel experimental tools for immunology research that will catalyze research progress across the entire field. This Special Issue is open to both academic and industrial researchers and attendance at the 35^th ASMS Winter Conference on Mass Spectrometry is not required.

The deadline for submissions is May 31, 2025.

Submission Information

All manuscripts will undergo rigorous peer review. Special Issue manuscripts publish ASAP and in-issue as they are ready, and then, once all designated papers have been published, they are compiled into an online Virtual Special Issue. Attendance at the 2025 Winter Conference on Mass Spectrometry is not required.

How to Submit

• Log in to the ACS Publishing Center.
• Select the "Journals" tab.
• Search for Journal of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry.
• Click "Submit."
• Select your manuscript type, and, under "Special Issue Selection," choose “Mass Spectrometry in Immunology and Antibody Research."
