Journal of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry (JASMS) is welcoming submissions for an upcoming Special Issue on New Frontiers in Ion Mobility-Mass Spectrometry, to coincide with the 2024 ASMS Asilomar Conference of the same theme.
For readers, this Special Issue will be an easily identifiable source of high-quality papers describing new instrumentation and applications of IM-MS. For authors, the Special Issue will provide a venue of increased visibility for their work.
The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2025.

Submission Information
All manuscripts will undergo rigorous peer review. Special Issue manuscripts publish ASAP and in-issue as they are ready, and then, once all designated papers have been published, they are compiled into an online Virtual Special Issue. Attendance at the 2024 Asilomar Conference is not required.
Open Access: You can make your research articles open access in JASMS. See if your institution or research funder currently participates in an ACS Read and Publish Agreement. How to Submit
- Log in to the ACS Publishing Center.
- Select the ‘Journals’ tab.
- Search for Journal of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry.
- Click "Submit."
- Select your manuscript type, and, under "Special Issue Selection," choose “New Frontiers in Ion Mobility-Mass Spectrometry from Applications to Instrumentation."
