This Virtual Special Issue will focus on how chemical approaches are uniquely positioned to explore, target, and remedy dysfunctional gene regulatory processes that underlie disease. Submit by September 30, 2024.
The emerging field of transcription therapy offers the potential to address dysfunction in gene regulation that causes cancer and other diseases. With this special issue, we aim to bring together researchers from across disciplines to share their knowledge and expertise to advance this field.
We are pleased to announce that the American Chemical Society journal ACS Chemical Biology will publish a Virtual Special Issue (VSI) titled “Transcription Therapy.” This VSI aims to highlight the latest advancements and perspectives in this field, focusing on how chemical approaches are uniquely positioned to explore, target, and remedy dysfunctional gene regulatory processes that underlie disease.
In the Transcription Therapy VSI, we welcome papers focused on the chemical control of targets such as:
- Epigenetic readers
- Chromatin remodelers
- Onco-histones
- Transcriptional condensates
- Transcriptional machinery
- Transcription factors (including onco-fusions)
- Induced proximity approaches (reactivity, degradation, etc.)
