This Special Issue will focus on specific topics of Deep Eutectic Solvents (DESs) for diverse properties, including, but not limited to:

  • Solid-liquid equilibrium for DESs
  • Vapor-liquid equilibria and liquid-liquid equilibria for solute-DES systems
  • Physicochemical properties of DESs (viscosity, density, heat capacity thermal stability, polarity, toxicity and basicity, etc.)
  • Prediction and modeling for the above-mentioned properties of DES-related systems (physics-based, “physics+data”-driven hybrid modeling)
  • Advanced experimental techniques for measuring properties of DES-related systems

Submission Requirements

Research must utilize experimental and computational approaches that are within the scope of the journal. Submissions must also comply with:

Note that micellization, kinetics, and catalysis are not in scope. The Journal of Chemical & Engineering Data encourages manuscripts that report on consequential (relevant, comprehensive, and robust) data and place these data into context by addressing what can be learned from differences and similarities to prior published data on related systems.
