ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces and ACS Applied Nano Materials will publish a joint forum (partial Special Issue) called “Forum Focused on South American Authors” in 2024. This joint forum will be a collection of articles published in a single issue of the journal authored by leaders of applied materials research in South America. We cordially invite everyone to nominate materials science & engineering researchers based in South America. You are also encouraged to self-nominate!
The primary emphasis of this forum will be on geographical representation, limited to authors from South America. There is no specific focus field, but the topics should follow the concept of the journal which are “reports of new and original experimental and theoretical research of an applied nature that integrate knowledge in the areas of materials, engineering, physics, bioscience, and chemistry into important applications of materials.”
The deadline for nomination is August 31, 2023.
Please note that while we aspire to feature as many deserving researchers as possible, it may not be feasible to accommodate all the nominations we receive. However, we assure you that each nomination will be given careful consideration.
