This Special Issue will bring together papers published by leaders in the field of nanozyme materials research. We are now calling for public nominations of authors (including self-nominations) to be invited to the Special Issue. Submit your nomination by November 30, 2024.
ACS Applied Nano Materials will publish a Special Issue called “Nanozymes: Design, Mechanisms and Applications” in 2025. The Special Issue will showcase a collection of papers published by leaders in the field of nanozyme materials research. We are now calling for public nominations of authors to be invited to this Special Issue. We also highly encourage self-nominations!
This Special Issue intends to highlight the original scientific contributions in the research areas listed below (but not be limited to):
- Design and fabrication of high-performance nanozymes
- Mechanisms of nanozymes
- Nanozyme-based prooxidation therapy
- Nanozyme-based antioxidation therapy
- Nanozyme-based antibacterial therapy
- Nanozyme-based bioanalysis and diagnostics
- Nanozyme-based translational applications
- Nanozyme applications beyond biomedicine

The deadline for nominations is November 30, 2024.
Please note that ACS Applied Nano Materials is an applied focused journal, so the submissions should meet the criteria of the journal scope: “reports of new and original experimental and theoretical research of an applied nature that integrate knowledge in the areas of materials, engineering, physics, bioscience, and chemistry into important applications of nanomaterials.”
Please note that while we aspire to feature as many deserving researchers as possible, it may not be feasible to accommodate all the nominations we receive. However, we assure you that each nomination will be given careful consideration.
