Update: 2025-2026 nominations are now open!

ACS Publications journal lectureships and awards recognize a mix of early career and established investigators who have made significant contributions to research in their fields.

We invite you to explore both current and past awards in Physical Chemistry, and submit your own nominations for 2025-2026.

CURRENT OPEN NOMINATIONS:

ACS Photonics Young Investigator Award Lectureship

We are now accepting nominations for 2026 through December 1, 2024.

This award honors the contributions of an early-career individual who is doing outstanding research in the research areas covered by ACS Photonics. The winner will be invited to present a talk on their research at SPIE Photonics West 2026 in San Francisco, California.

This award is presented in partnership with ACS Photonics and SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics.

The Journal of Physical Chemistry and PHYS Division Lectureship Awards

We are now accepting nominations for 2025 through December 1, 2024.

The Journal of Physical Chemistry and PHYS Division Lectureship Awards honor the contributions of investigators who have made major impacts on the field of physical chemistry in the research areas associated with each section of the journal.

Nominations are considered collectively then assigned to one of the three awards:

ACS Catalysis Lectureship for the Advancement of Catalytic Science

We are now accepting nominations for 2025 through December 31, 2024.

This annual award honors an individual or a collaborative team for recent and significant contributions to the field, which appeared as a publication in ACS Catalysis within the last 36 months preceding the nomination deadline (2022, 2023 or 2024). In 2025, one lectureship award will be given in each of the three areas of catalysis covered by ACS Catalysis: biocatalysis or enzymology; heterogeneous catalysis; homogeneous catalysis.

This lectureship is awarded in partnership with ACS Catalysis, the ACS Division of Catalysis Science and Technology, and the ACS Division of Organic Chemistry.
