ACS Macro Letters and Macromolecules seek contributions focused on polymer membranes for chemical separations. Submissions of original research articles and communications are encouraged. There is no deadline for your submissions; please submit when you are ready.
Membrane-based separations have garnered significant attention due to their energy efficiency and versatility. Polymer membranes are central components in processes such as desalination, wastewater treatment, and gas separation, and they find application in energy storage, barrier packaging, critical mineral recovery, and biomedical devices. Developing next-generation membranes that exhibit high selectivity, permeability, and resilient performance necessitates an in-depth understanding of the interplay between polymer structure and molecular transport. These relationships are rooted in the thermodynamic and kinetic properties of polymers.
We are pleased to invite you to submit your original research articles and urgent communications to Macromolecules and ACS Macro Letters, respectively. Similarly, Macromolecules and ACS Macro Letters encourage your proposals for Perspective or Viewpoint articles.
There is no deadline for your submissions; please submit when you are ready.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
- Diffusion in Polymers
- Sorption in Polymers
- Physical Aging in Glassy Polymers
- Membrane Formation and Nonequilibrium Processing
- Membrane Modification via Brush and Pore Alteration
