The new ACS Strategic Plan for 2025-2029 is guided by our commitment to improve all lives through the transforming power of chemistry. The plan was approved by the ACS Board of Directors in December 2024 and announced on January 1, 2025.
At the heart of the ACS Strategic Plan are our core values: Passion for Science, Lifelong Learning, Inclusion and Belonging, and Sustainability, which guide our continued focus on supporting the global scientific community.
It’s through our dedication to Inclusion and Belonging that we create environments where people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, perspectives, and experiences thrive. We believe in the power of and respect for all chemists. ACS Publications continues our steadfast commitment to ensure our journal communities are aligned with these values and reflect the global nature of science.
