Now, researchers at more than 100 institutions in Asia-Pacific are now able to publish their research open access in ACS journals at no, or significantly reduced, cost to themselves.
Institutionally-sponsored open access agreements—which cover article publishing charges on behalf of affiliated authors —are one of the key mechanisms that are increasing the growth of open access.
ACS read and publish agreements are one such way in which institutions are moving to support their authors’ open access publishing goals. Each ACS read and publish agreement has been developed in close consultation with consortia and institutions to maximize research integrity and ensure an excellent publishing experience for authors and institutional administrators alike.
With the recent announcement that the Thailand Consortium has signed a read and publish agreement with ACS, researchers at more than 100 institutions in Asia-Pacific are now able to publish their research open access in ACS journals at no, or significantly reduced, cost to themselves.
