The Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling aims to continue its role as a publishing hub for state-of-the-art interdisciplinary studies integrating biological and chemical research with information and mathematical sciences. The journal is issuing a call for papers for its upcoming Special Issue, Machine Learning in Bio-cheminformatics. Submit your manuscript by August 1, 2023 to be considered for publication.

Recent years have witnessed exponential growth in machine learning, including deep learning, studies. Machine learning has facilitated data-driven discoveries in a wide variety of scientific fields and disciplines, especially bio-cheminformatics. To foster further applications of machine learning to diverse topics in chemistry and chemical biology (including, but not limited to, the prediction of molecular structures, interactions and properties, the discovery of drugs and targets, as well as the planning of retrosynthetic routes), Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling is excited to publish a Special Issue on Machine Learning in Bio-cheminformatics.

Researchers and scientists worldwide are encouraged to submit their manuscript to this Special Issue. We are keen on receiving submissions which report on new approaches and/or important applications in the field of Machine Learning in Bio-cheminformatics. The journal welcomes manuscripts in the form of articles, perspectives, viewpoints, reviews, letters, and application notes. Please find more information on acceptable manuscript types on the journal’s webpage and the following Editorials:

The deadline to submit your manuscript is August 1, 2023. This Special Issue is expected to publish in December 2023. Learn more about our submission guidelines here.

We look forward to your contributions!
