The Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling (JCIM) is a leading journal published by the American Chemical Society covering state-of-the-art research in molecular modeling and chemical informatics. JCIM publishes articles that present new methods, software, and databases for chemical data management and studies that apply these tools to chemical and biological systems to facilitate chemical discovery and innovation. JCIM is led by a distinguished and diverse editorial board.

JCIM is seeking nominations for the journal’s Early Career Board (ECB). The ECB members will be instrumental in guiding the journal's growth and development, building on its existing success. They will offer insights into the journal’s strategies, campaigns, and engagement while also serving as representatives who expand the journal’s scope into innovative and evolving fields. The ECB’s efforts will help establish the journal as a leading destination for distinguished scientists from around the globe.

We are excited to welcome up-and-coming scholars as ECB members of JCIM. The initial appointment will span two years, during which ECB members will collaborate regularly with the JCIM editorial teams. Those selected will be invited to join the Board in January 2025 and will serve until the end of 2027.

The deadline for applications is October 18, 2024.
