ACS150 JACS Symposium: Chemistry is Everything
As part of the American Chemical Society's 150th anniversary celebration, ACS Publications is proud to bring the ACS150 JACS Symposium Series to ACS Fall 2026.
On Tuesday, August 25, join leading researchers, ACS Priestley Medalists, and journal editors for a morning of discovery and discussion surrounding chemistry’s impact across disciplines and its role in shaping the future of science. Hear from Nobel Laureates Prof. Carolyn Bertozzi on bioorthogonal chemistry, Prof. Stefan Hell on super-resolution fluorescence microscopy, Prof. Jack W. Szostak on the origins of genetic information, and Prof. Stanley Whittingham on the future of lithium battery chemistry.
Space is limited, so be sure to add this exclusive event to your ACS Fall 2026 registration.
ACS Publications Booth Activities
Want to learn more about our newest journals and publishing resources? Curious about how to take your research from the lab to a peer-reviewed publication?
Between sessions, visit ACS Publications at the ACS Booth to participate in fun activities — including our "Which Influential Chemist Are You?" quiz — and chat with trusted experts who can help demystify the publishing process and support you at every stage of your research journey. Below are just a few of the many resources you can learn about:
- ACS Author Lab: This online training course empowers authors to prepare and submit strong manuscripts, avoiding errors that could lead to delays in the publication process. Developed by ACS Editors and staff, this course is designed to help you identify key considerations for each step of your publishing journey.
- Publishing with ACS: Your research needs the right journal for maximum impact, and ACS Publications is here to support you in sharing your science with the world. Learn more about the benefits of publishing with ACS and explore our prestigious list of chemistry journals.
- Open Access: Learn about the different types of open access publishing, find out if your institution participates in a read and publish agreement, and discover how publishing open access can increase your research's visibility and foster worldwide collaboration.
