Explore both current and past journal lectureships and awards from ACS Publications' Organic and Inorganic portfolio—and submit your nominations for 2025!
Update: 2025 nominations are now open!
ACS Publications journal lectureships and awards recognize a mix of early career and established investigators who have made significant contributions to research in their fields.
We invite you to explore both current and past awards in Organic and Inorganic Chemistry, and submit your own nominations for 2025.
CURRENT OPEN NOMINATIONS:
ACS Catalysis Lectureship for the Advancement of Catalytic Science
We are now accepting nominations for 2025 through December 31, 2024.
This annual award honors an individual or a collaborative team for recent and significant contributions to the field, which appeared as a publication in ACS Catalysis within the last 36 months preceding the nomination deadline (2022, 2023 or 2024). In 2025, one lectureship award will be given in each of the three areas of catalysis covered by ACS Catalysis: biocatalysis or enzymology; heterogeneous catalysis; homogeneous catalysis.
This lectureship is awarded in partnership with ACS Catalysis, the ACS Division of Catalysis Science and Technology, and the ACS Division of Organic Chemistry.
Inorganic Chemistry Lectureship
We are now accepting nominations for 2025 through December 1, 2024.
This award recognizes an early career researcher who has demonstrated creativity and impact in leading research in inorganic chemistry, broadly defined.
This lectureship is awarded in partnership with Inorganic Chemistry and the ACS Division of Inorganic Chemistry.
Organic Letters Outstanding Publication of the Year Award Lectureship
We are now accepting nominations for 2025 through December 31, 2024.
This award recognizes the research team behind an outstanding Letter published in an issue of Organic Letters in 2024 that demonstrates creativity and impact in the field of organic chemistry, broadly based.
This lectureship is awarded in partnership with Organic Letters and the ACS Division of Organic Chemistry.
Organic Process Research & Development Outstanding Publication of the Year Lectureship Award
We are now accepting nominations for 2025 through December 31, 2024.
This award recognizes the research team behind an outstanding article published in an issue of Organic Process Research & Development in 2024 that demonstrates creativity and impact in the field of process chemistry and related disciplines associated with reaction scale-up.
This lectureship is awarded in partnership with Organic Process Research & Development and the ACS Division of Organic Chemistry.
Organometallics Distinguished Author Award
We are now accepting nominations for 2025 through December 31, 2024.
This award recognizes an early-career author of exceptional articles published in Organometallics during the past two years (2023-2024). The articles chosen should emphasize the importance of organometallic chemistry and have a profound impact on organic and inorganic chemistry as a whole.
This lectureship is awarded in partnership with Organometallics and the ACS Division of Organic Chemistry and the ACS Division of Inorganic Chemistry.
The Journal of Organic Chemistry Outstanding Publication of the Year Award Lectureship
We are now accepting nominations for 2025 through December 31, 2024.
This award recognizes the research team behind an outstanding article published in an issue of The Journal of Organic Chemistry in 2024 that demonstrates creativity and impact in the field of organic chemistry, broadly based.
This lectureship is awarded in partnership with The Journal of Organic Chemistry and the ACS Division of Organic Chemistry.
